Our downtown residences — Capitol Suite, The Royal Vista, Casa Industrial, Midtown Pearl — sit within a short, walkable radius of the Sacramento Superior Court, the State Capitol, and most downtown firm offices. Leaving at 8:20 AM for a 9:00 AM hearing is straightforward. Coming home for a working lunch is straightforward. The building is quiet after 9 PM.
Set up for professional life
Every Divine residence includes fiber Wi-Fi (real, symmetric, business-grade — not the marketing kind), a dedicated workspace with a proper chair and monitor stand, and a fully equipped kitchen for the nights the assignment doesn't leave time for a restaurant. The furnishings are hospitality-grade, not IKEA-grade.
The buildings themselves are professional environments. Neighbors are other guests on similar 30-night+ stays — traveling physicians, executives on relocation, other attorneys on assignment. Not a party building.

How the arrangement actually works
Direct firm billing and clean expense documentation
We invoice the firm directly on firm letterhead–compatible statements: line-itemized nightly rate, taxes and fees separated, no ambiguity. Statements are formatted for pass-through to clients where the housing is billable to a matter, and for internal expense reimbursement where it isn't.
For firms placing associates with us on a recurring basis, we can set up a master billing arrangement so individual bookings roll up to a single AP contact.
Trial-timeline flexibility
Trials go long. Motions get continued. We build flexibility into the terms of a legal-vertical booking — extensions are handled as a single admin step at the same nightly rate, and we hold the unit for reasonable trial overruns whenever the calendar allows.
For legislative-session work (roughly January through mid-September), we book session-length engagements at the Capitol Suite and nearby units well in advance — the closer to the Capitol, the earlier the calendar fills.
Discretion
No public signage. No shared amenities that force interaction. Building access is controlled. If a matter calls for an NDA or extra access controls, we'll accommodate — get in touch and we'll work through the specifics.
